Nicola's story
Nicola came to train with me when she was only 7 weeks post natal with her second child. Alongside wanting to shift some weight gained in pregnancy, she also wanted to increase her core strength, improve her posture, strengthen her pelvic floor and grow some muscle, to help keep her metabolic rate high and also help her stay fit and active when lifting and carrying her children.
Initially, Nicola adopted a strict nutrition plan, which helped place her in calorie deficit, meaning she was able to lose a sensible 2-3 pounds of fat per week for the month after she stopped breast feeding. However, she quickly returned to a  balanced and varied diet without calorie counting, once she had increased her muscle mass and had found a sensible pattern of exercise that worked for her.
This is what she's achieved in the six months we've been working together:
Down two dress sizes
Elimination of poor circulation and cellulite to thighs
Core strength increased to pre pregnancy levels
Sloping shoulders rectified
Relief of mid back pain
Increased energy levels

Ideal for clients who want a more personalised or private alternative to a class setting and particularly suitable for those with a weakened pelvic floor, Diastasis Recti, incontinence issues or poor posture

Work-based training

Prices are applicable to studio sessions in M21 and home sessions within a 3 mile radius of M21. For charges for home sessions further afield, please contact us.

​Once purchased, packages are non-refundable and must be used within 6 months of purchase.

All clients must complete a health questionnaire and meet a basic level of fitness to be able to participate. Sarah Spearing Fitness reserves the right to cancel a session if the trainer is not confident that the participant can safely participate or if the safety of the trainer or client is compromised,
Sarah Spearing Fitness treats client confidentiality very seriously and adheres to data protection rules. However, we reserve the right to share information where there are serious safeguarding concerns about a client.

Sarah mainly works out of two studio spaces on Oswald Road, Chorlton.

The holistic studio is peaceful and private, perfect for yoga, stretching, Pilates and post natal assessments. A real fire can add some warmth and luxury to calming, mat based sessions.

The gym is a functional space, full of all the equipment needed to offer strength training and full body workouts. Access to an outdoor workout space is avaialble from here.
